"The charcoal sent is truly amazing. This all started with me using the soap at a hotel I was working at and had snowballed into an addiction in the best possible way. I have the candle, the electric diffuser, the room spray and the body care kit. Even bought a second one for a friend. I could not recommend apotheke charcoal more than I already do. Please Apotheke if you’re reading this, we as a community need this sent in a cologne and a body wash. Also thank you for such an awesome product."

Room Spray is the best.

"I use this product in my car. I couple of blasts of Charcoal really make the car smell nice. It also tends to mask other car smells, so I’m calling this product a replacement for the little “Christmas tree” things that hang from your rear view mirror. Apotheke is such an innovative company and such a great part of the community of Red Hook. I especially love Sebastian Picasso for all that he did during the Great Fire on Van Brunt. He should get a new car so he too can use the room spray."

Very Subtle Scent.

"This is the first time I have used a high quality spray of a scent I’ve been enjoying as a candle. And I expected the scent to be stronger, or perhaps just last a bit longer. I won’t stop using it for now, as it may be that I simply have to acclimate myself to its scent. Let’s give it a whirl!"

Exotic Charcoal

"There is something special about the Charcoal scent. Smokey sandalwood transports you to some place exotic. The room spray bottle is not pressurized like traditional room sprays but a little goes a long way. Love it!"

Charcoal candles

"I really enjoy the Charcoal scent. Do the candles have charcoal in them? This has happened to me twice now. The candles incinerate themselves at a certain point . I had an extra large one which had to be rushed outside engulfed in flames and then it exploded into pieces. I received a $100 gift certificate. Thanks. After a time , I purchased a three-wick candle, thinking because it was smaller it would be ok. I had it on my desk and it incinerated. It was halfway down. This one broke and spilled wax everywhere. Ok maybe I’m a fool for giving it a second try. I trim the wicks. And never leave candles unattended. But this has happened twice, and I have to let you know! Really captures the smell of a wood fire!

"I LOVE the fact that this really smells like my favorite parts of a fire. I looked and looked online for something like this, and even got "burned" a couple of times by inaccurate descriptions. When I had a chance to smell this in person at a shop in NYC, I was overjoyed! I purchased both the lotion and the room spray, and have been totally thrilled with what it does to the ambience of my house."

If you like the candle, you will probably like the spray....

"If you like the candle you will probably like the spray...with a caveat. Yes, it smells like the candle....refined, mature, and clean. I only remove one star (and this may be a plus for some buyers) because I do not think it translates quite as well with how focused and concentrated the smell can be with the spray. I tend to use room/linen sprays in my office or in my car (and I have a go to from another brand that I like). The charcoal smells great and, like I said, if you like the candle then rest assured that you will like this smell. It might just be how focused the spray's smell is that bring a little less enthusiasm for some. I do not regret my purchase and I will use it, but I don't think it will replace my usual go-to spray."
