"I took a candle making class for my birthday after years of it being saved in my Google maps. It did not disappoint! Grace was an incredible teacher as she broke down the steps and different types of scents. This is a great activity to do solo or as a group. I would highly recommend and will be back!"
"On Saturday 8/8/26 I attended a perfume making class hosted by Grace at Apotheke’ Red Hook location. Grace was knowledgeable and able to assist the class with our notes of choice when we conveyed our daily perfume choices. I had an enjoyable class and love the perfume I created . "Had a lovely experience 8/16 with Grace at the candle-making class! She's very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The hour goes very quickly, but that's famously a mark of having fun! While I'm sure hours (or a lifetime) could be spent deep-diving into all the information about scent profiles and scent-building given at the beginning, it's impressive how much you'll walk away with even over the course of a 20-minute crash-course! Plenty of time is then given for you to build the scent of your candle, and it's fun and engaging to mix your scent and adjust based on feedback before pouring - I would definitely say mine improved after tweaking it a bit! My girlfriend and I walked away smiling at the unique, creative, personal, and rewarding time we had! Pretty good idea for a birthday gift for your partner if I do say so myself ;)"
