Candle Care
  • Trim your wicks to 1/4" before lighting to ensure a slower, longer burn.
  • After extinguishing, recenter your wick to prevent the glass from cracking and extend burn time.
  • On the first burn, let the wax pool reach the edge (about 3-4 hours) to avoid tunneling.
  • Don’t burn candles for more than 4 hours to prevent overheating and wick damage.
  • Burn candles on heat-resistant surfaces and never leave them unattended.
  • Stop burning when less than 1/2" of wax remains to avoid safety risks.

"I love Apotheke and have spent a lot of money here! Their candles are the best but this particular one is filthy. It is the most sooty and smokey candle I've ever owned. It is hard to extinguish and smokes so badly that it sets off the nest smoke alarm in the next room over. The other reviews appear to be good so maybe I got a faulty one, but I can't recommend this one."
