APOTHEKE is a woman-owned home fragrance brand based in Brooklyn, New York. In May 2021, a decade since the brand was founded, APOTHEKE opened their brand new 16,000 square foot factory right along with their first ever flagship store in 2021, APOTHEKE has grown and so much but the vision remains the same: making home fragrance inspired by life’s simple moments.

Founder Chrissy Fichtl’s passion for soap making, scent formulation and essential oils are the roots of what created APOTHEKE in 2011. Chrissy learned about the beauty of essential oils, starting with sourcing ingredients directly from farms and teaching herself the art of soap making in her own kitchen.
