Lovely scent, poorly named (3. 5/5)
"My wife and I recently stocked up on petite sized Apotheke candles, after discovering orange blossom and neroli (our second-place winner on the silly little spreadsheet I made) The fig & olive leaf candle DOES remind me of sun-ripened figs. Think overripe but not rotten, the skin has split but the fruit could still be eaten in small quantities. There is a BIT of complexity and layers to this candle, I think it’s the Cedarwood breaking through. Which helps to make up for my one complaint about it: Is the olive leaf in the room with us? Because it’s not in my room when I light this candle. We thought this candle’s cold throw and hot throw was medium. I don’t think we’ll be restocking this one when we finish it, but we will certainly finish it and don’t regret purchasing it! There are plenty of others we’ll be returning for, and we’ve enjoyed sampling around and collecting the various colors of glass vessels."
